Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to arrange the samagri (puja items)?
After you book, I will send you a full samagri list for your ceremony, so you know exactly what to prepare. If you would rather not source everything yourself, please let me know and we can discuss how to arrange it.
Do you travel across the UK?
Yes. I travel to ceremonies across London, the Midlands and across the United Kingdom. Travel arrangements and any associated costs are discussed when you make your enquiry, so there are no surprises.
How much does a ceremony cost?
Sambhavana depend on the ceremony, the number of days or sessions, the samagri required and the travel distance. Send me your date, location and chosen ceremony, and I will reply with a personal quote.
How far in advance should I book?
Please contact me as early as you can, especially for weddings, Upanayanam and other ceremonies that depend on an auspicious date. I will check the muhurtham with you and confirm availability.
Will the ceremony be explained in my language?
Yes. I conduct and explain ceremonies in Tamil, Telugu and English, and I recite the Sanskrit mantras with their meanings shared as needed, so that everyone present can follow along.
Can I ask for guidance online?
Yes. We can speak remotely about choosing a suitable ritual, timing and preparations. Online guidance is a conversation and does not replace an in-person ceremony.
What happens after I send an enquiry?
I will reply personally to discuss your occasion, preferred date and location. We can then talk through availability, the ceremony, preparations and dakshina before you decide whether to proceed.
