My Background
About Me
I’m a South Indian priest in the Smartha tradition, based in the United Kingdom. For more than 17 years, I’ve helped families mark important moments and observe their traditions through Vedic ceremonies.
I trained at Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham, where I studied the Vedas and traditional ritual practice. My work follows the Smartha tradition, with ceremonies performed according to Tamil or Telugu customs.
I have more than 17 years of experience performing the Shodasha Karmas and conducting Veda Parayanam. My expertise includes the Ashvalayana and Apastamba traditions, covering both Purva and Apara Prayoga.
I speak Tamil and Telugu, and can explain the ceremony in English when needed. I am happy to talk through the steps and meaning of a ritual so that family members can follow along.
I specialise in Rigveda Ghanantham, a tradition of Rigvedic recitation also known as Ghanapati. It has been an important part of my learning and continues to shape my work.
If you are planning a ceremony or simply have a question about a ritual, feel free to get in touch.
